The b60b baggage car used by the PRR is an iconic feature missing from many model railroads. This kit will help fill that void. The price above includes the car shell and frame along with detailed trucks and gang walks. It has coupler pockets for the standard bachman 78502 we typically recommend, or a new feature, the ability to use your own couplers with a built in coupler box. This model has the coupler boxes separate.
Available in 4 versions, b60b with round windows, b60b with round windows and roof vents, b60 messenger with rectangular windows, and b60 messenger with square windows and roof vents.
We also plan to include brass details with this kit, but due to demand and lots of interest we are releasing it for preorder before the brass parts are complete. This means the price for preorder is adjusted as the cost without the brass details. If you order now, and we can provide brass details for this kit you will receive the details free! So order today before the kits are released for normal sale to save money on an awesome kit.
Brass details will include all grab irons along with pickups for lighting to be added.
With this preorder we are also offering custom trucks! The trucks on these cars seem to have been pieced together over the years with different bearings, some even with different bearings on the same side. We have all the bearing options ready to go, if you wish to purchase with this option we will need an email to confirm which bearing options go where on the trucks. This is your opportunity to have an exact version of the year and car you are modeling. (subject to added charge)
Finally this is not atlas, a pre order means its going to be complete and for sale, even only one sale will mean this kit will be sold, so do not worry about your preorder being canceled for lack of interest. We specialize in small runs, accurate dimensions, and exact details. Current eta is about mid October.
