This art deco pump house was modeled after one in California formerly owned by the Southern Pacific Railroad. It is fitting of many buildings build in the art deco era, with chiseled lines and thick walls, this kit is simple to build and make look great on any layout. The separate doors allow you to paint them as needed, or even add window glass (not included) without issue. It includes a stairway to place it between different elevations as needed. If you do not want the stair way simply do not install it. The upper door would be an area used to access the pump works and could have a hoist depending on your era. The hoist is not included but would be easy to model with some spare I beam sticking out above the doors.
Modeled in American HO scale (1:87), this kit is true to scale and size. Due to variations in the industry it may be a little large or small depending what scale your surrounding details are in.
